Already winner of the 2010 Worlds in Gijon, and second last year in Benodet, the Spanish skipper Gonzalo Botin has won his second world title in Class 40.
Very consistent throughout the nine races sailed in very contrasting weather (20 to 3 knots), the crew originally from Santander ahead Aloys Le Claquin (Jack in th box), taking the 2011 title, and The German Jorg Riechers (Mare).
